Matt Moccia, a P. H. Kellner - Quality Custom Fishing Pro-Staffer, caught ShareLunker #539 this morning (Sunday, December 30, 2012). It was caught while fishing a tournament at Lake Dunlap, in New Braunfels, TX. The fish weighed in at 13.43 pounds and was 26 inches long.
It is a much deserved fish for Matt, as I have heard him talk about this fish for the last 15 or so years. Matt has been a lifelong friend of mine, he is an avid kayak angler (however this fish was caught from a power boat in a bass tournament), and he is a knowledgeable and dedicated bass fisherman.
