Finally I was able to spend some time in the water.

First, in the backyard pool with my Dad and Hank:

And then finally got the kayak out to do some fishing on the pond across the street.  The pond is actually Lake Oliver Hardy.

I caught one fish in the short time I was on the water.  I must say, it was a wimpy fish.  It hit like a girl and fought like a baby.  Haha, but it was my first bass in Georgia.  I ended up letting this guy have it.  I have a hard time keeping fish, but this guy was out there all day and never caught anything.  I went out there and caught this fish within 10 minutes:

Next trip I plan on spending some time on Lake Sinclare and on the Oconee River.
