  2. Is that a snake skin? What kind? Whatever the case, it looks really nice! I have yet to try a split handle on the water as I tend to only build traditional handles - I'm not that adventurous yet. :)

    1. No, it is just the image of redfish scales, but I can do snake skin there as well. MOst of my customers, myself included, prefer split grip handles for most rods. Some rods, like worm and jig bass rods, I want a full grip on.

    2. I've definitely got to build one... I do a lot of rebuilds but haven't rebuilt a split handle yet. I have a blank right now I could "play" with. Hmmm....
